Step By Step Guide On How To Draw Snowflake
In this initial phase of our lesson on how to design a snowflake, we will draw a series of guidelines.
Since we will be removing these lines later, it is preferable to use a lighter pencil for this phase. Using a ruler, draw a line straight down, followed by two more lines at the angle depicted in the illustration.
If possible, strive to have lines of equal length. If you have one, you can use a drawing triangle to create accurate angles for your snowflake.
Your snowflake drawing is now beginning to take form. In the next steps, we will demonstrate a snowflake design that you may use, but after you get the hang of it, you can alter the pattern to create your own unique snowflakes.
You can draw small ‘arms’ emanating from your snowflake creation, as shown in the image.
Once they have been drawn, you can remove the base of each arm so that they become a part of the snowflake’s outline.
Your snowflake drawing is nearly complete at this time! To complete this design, add several much smaller circles to the snowflake.
Draw circles on the remaining sides, as shown in the reference image.
