When students learn how to draw simple dinosaurs, it’s fun to do a whole collection, and use some different materials while they are at it.
if you have a dinosaur loving kid in your home, they are going to love this how to draw a dinosaur guide, an easy step by step tutorial that will have them draw a t-rex looking like dinosaur in no time.
In this tutorial we’ll be teaching your kids how to draw a dinosaur that looks like a T-rex or a velociraptor – two of the most popular dinosaurs out there.
The steps are really easy to follow, just like with our other how to draw tutorials so the end result should always be awesome. You can give it a try as well.
Start by drawing the head. Start at the right end and make a “egg like” shape, not making a full egg shape.
It doesn’t have to be exactly the same, it can be more boxy or more round or oval, it will turn out great just the same.
Next, let’s make the face. Draw an eye and an arch above the eye (like an eyebrow). Draw a line for the mouth and make nostrils above the mouth line.
Finish up the face by drawing the mouth.
Next comes the neck. Continue the line on the right and make a curved line, like a round bracket, on the left.
You can’t draw a dinosaur, especially a, with the cute hands. Make a hand. Once you are done, draw the line for the back. Hind leg is next. With little triangle on it.
Bring it all together by drawing a curved line. Now draw lines that follow the belly line, from the head all the way to the tip of the tail. You already know how to draw a pair of legs, so also draw the pair in the background.
Colour it with green colour. Decorate! Draw lines on the belly and strips or spots on the back to give your dinosaur some texture.
Your dinosaur is finished! Even if you don’t get it right the first time, keep practicing until you’re happy with your drawing.
